Dean Smith Left $200 To Every Player He Coached For 'Dinner Out'

Dean Smith left $200 in his trust to every one of his varsity basketball letterman he coached in his career.

Smith had his trust send the $200 check with a message of "enjoy a dinner out compliments of Coach Dean Smith."

Smith passed away on Feb. 7 at the age of 85.

Smith won two National Championships, while also appearing in 11 Final Fours and winning the ACC regular season in 17 seasons.

Jahlil Okafor Headlines 2015 ACC Awards

Jahlil Okafor has been named the 2015 ACC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year (Media, Coaches).

Joining Okafor on the All-ACC First Team are Malcolm Brogdon, Rakeem Christmas, Jerian Grant and Olivier Hanlan.

Brogdon and Christmas shared Defensive Player of the Year. Christmas was also named Most Improved Player.

BeeJay Anya won the Sixth Man of the Year award from the media, while Mike Tobey won it in the coaches vote.
